Legislative ACTION ALERT

posted on 2018-01-18 2:10 pm
We asked you a little more than a week ago to call your senator to ask for support for a bill to lift the age cap on autism therapy currently in state law. The age-8 cap has caused confusion and means in many cases children go without therapy.  We are trying to solve this by asking that the age cap be lifted.

Representative Steve Massengill has introduced a companion bill in the House of Representatives - House Bill 769 (HB 769)

We are one step closer but we need your help! Please call or email your state Representative and ask them to PASS HB 769 for those with autism in Mississippi.  We need to lift the age cap on autism therapy!

You can call the Capitol switchboard at 601-359-3770 and leave a message for your representative. If you don't know your representative's name, CLICK HERE, enter your address in the box provided and your state senator and representative will be listed.
