We would like to thank the Tupelo Daily Journal for covering the Resource Fair. Below is a snippet from the article.
Disability advocates are bringing together 32 agencies for a free event Thursday in Tupelo.
The Northeast Mississippi chapter of ARC and the Mississippi Parent Training and Information Center are hosting the Community Resource and Disability Awareness Fair at Harrisburg Baptist Church on Cliff Gookin Boulevard from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m.
“We’ve tried to cover the whole spectrum,” said Cheryl Falzone, president of the ARC Northeast Mississippi chapter.
The event will include non-profit agencies that work with children, adults and seniors. There will be agencies that focus on physical disabilities and those that focus on intellectual and developmental disabilities.
