The Mississippi disAbility MegaConference is the state's largest conference for people with disabilities, their families, and professionals. At the conference, speakers and vendors will share the latest information and innovations on many topics such as healthcare, education, employment, mental health, safety, and much more! The conference is a great way for people to make new friends and learn about services that may benefit their lives in the future.
The conference will be held on June 16-17, 2016 at the Marriott in Downtown Jackson, MS.
This event is a private evening at the Jackson Zoo for people with disabilities and their families. The event will include train and carousel rides, zookeeper chats, animal encounters, live entertainment, and refreshments. Dream Night is a partnership between The Jackson Zoo and the Mississippi disAbility MegaConference. If you desire to participate in the event, please indicate this on your registration form. Please register for this event early before June 12, 2016.
Limited stipends to cover registration or hotel fees are being offered to people with disabilities and their family on a first come, first served basis. If you live within 25 miles of Jackson, Mississippi you can only request a stipend to cover the registration fee. The deadline to apply for a stipend is May 31, 2016. So if you are interested in applying for a stipend please indicate that on the registration form and complete a stipend request form.
